Any personnel who performs rigging or operates hoisting equipment, must undergo training to establish that the personnel is competent and able to perform the operation at hand. The qualification required from the training is valid for a 3 year period, in which the performer is validly allowed to operate and perform with said equipment. A written exam and demonstration is required for the qualifications. A strict set of instructions must be followed at all times during training, and after once qualified. 

When we bought the rights to the DuPont Company's plant maintenance and operations training programs in 1990, Job Training Systems, Inc. was born. Our courses, job training workbooks and strict rigging instruction cover the fundamentals that all mechanics and plant operators need to know. These materials/instructions have been used to train tens of thousands of people. Community colleges, apprenticeship programs, and many of the world's top chemical, refining, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical corporations are among our clients. Many of our clients have been with us from the beginning. Approximately 170 titles and job training/instruction workbooks are available in a variety of formats.
