Piping & instrumentation diagrams are used to schematically represent a design, and are usually created before any physical equipment design or layout takes place. All of the equipment and instrumentation required for a process is depicted using symbols, and any interconnecting pipework is represented using simple lines. Having well designed drawings is essential to any successful project. 

When we bought the rights to the DuPont Company's plant maintenance and operations training programs in 1990, Job Training Systems, Inc. was born. Our piping instrumentation drawings cover the fundamentals that all mechanics and plant operators need to know. These drawings have been utilized by a multitude of people. Community colleges, apprenticeship programs, and many of the world's top chemical, refining, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical corporations are among our clients who use these insutrmentation drawings. Many of our clients have been with us from the beginning. Approximately 170 titles and job training workbooks are available in a variety of formats, many with examples of the different type of piping instrumentation drawings we convey.
