Mixers –“Lightnin” Portable Mixers
Identifying ”Lightnin" portable-type mixers and their major parts: Identifying, measuring and selecting standard propellers; preparing the mixer shaft and installing the propellers on the shaft; adjusting the mixer position; lifting and handling the mixer for installation or removal: identifying data needed for replacement of defective motor and mixer parts; using the ”Operating Instructions” manual for disassembly, inspection, repair and reassembly of the mixer; and identifying the safety factors in performing these jobs.
Prerequisites: Ability to interpret simple drawings, sketches and tables. Ability to use common hand tools.
