Level Measurement – Electronic Devices
Measuring and detecting the level of liquids and solids with electronic devices: the principles of operation, applications and points of interest in the maintenance of level devices; using light source and phototube; utilizing ultrasonic vibrational waves; detecting level using gamma ray absorption; change in capacitance between a probe and a vessel caused by changing the dielectric constant.
Prerequisites: Aptitude for physics; completion of a course in electricity in basic DC and AC or equivalent knowledge; and an understanding of basic electronics.
