Identification and function of the components of the internal combustion engine: operation of the four-stroke engine and the two-stroke engine; the intake stroke; the compression stroke; the power stroke; the exhaust stroke; valves; crankshaft; flywheel; and elementary carburetor action.

Prerequisites: Some familiarity with mechanical terms such as “piston”, “cylinder”, etc.
