Covers the definition an purpose of a motor control center and a control control center's role in process safety. Specifics include; cabinet and its features; motor control center electrical system; buss system; single line diagram; and inspection and maintenance. 

Prerequisites -  Knowledge of basic electrical diagrams (Course Number 127) and electrical equipment terms. It is  mandatory  the trainee be knowledgeable in; the lock and tag procedures as practiced at your facility; electrical safety and grounding procedures the apply at your facility; and the proper selection and use of protective equipment as required for you facility.
